CDI’s X400 transmitter family is CDI’s largest TRAXALL-compatible line of electromagnetic transmitters, comprising four models with 2, 3, 4, or 5 D-Cell batteries. Each of these models is available in three versions: standard, titanium, and ATEX explosion-rated, providing a wide range of options to fit diverse pig tracking requirements.

These transmitters feature user-adjustable frequency and output power via CDI’s FieldLink wireless communications system, giving operators direct control over battery life vs. strength tradeoffs. By using CDI’s TRAXALL transmitters, operators can optimize power usage for short or long pig runs, adjusting pulsing modes and/or reducing power as needed.

In total, the X400 transmitter family includes twelve models, consisting of four standard models, four ATEX explosion-proof models, and four titanium high-pressure models. With this comprehensive range of options, the X400 transmitters can be customized to suit a variety of challenging pig tracking environments.
