Statox 501 Infratox – measurement of combustible gases and CO₂

The Statox 501 Infratox measures flammable gases in the range 0 – 100 % LEL, larger hydrocarbon molecules also in the ppm range. The measuring head transmits the measured values as a 4–20 mA signal to an evaluation unit, either a Statox 503 control module or to a process control system.

It is equipped with a digital display, which not only enables the concentration to be read off, but also simplifies the mandatory regular checks. The buttons on the calibration adapter allow access to a menu without having to open the housing. In this way, operating parameters can be queried or changed in a very simple manner or a calibration that may become necessary can be carried out.

The measuring cell is located in the middle of the measuring head, so that the heat loss from the lamp and the electronics keep the sensor warm and condensation is reliably avoided. The compact stainless steel housing with degree of protection IP 67 withstands even the most adverse environmental conditions.
