Description

TE Connectivity’s (TE) Crompton Instruments Model 460 is part of the range of ANSI voltage transformers that provides cost-e ective and accurate conversion of the primary voltage. The extensive portfolio measures a wide range of primary voltages with option fuse confi gurations.
The Model 460 ANSI voltage transformer core and coil are encased in a thermoplastic shell and fi lled with resin supplied with two plastic terminal covers. These transformers are designed for operation line to line. They may be operated line to ground or line to neutral at reduced voltage (58% of rated voltage).
It is recommended that a 1.6 A BBS fuse be fi tted on the secondary part of the transformer for protection. These transformers as ANSI C57.13 group 1 (except 460-480 and 460-600 which are group 2). Transformers can be designed for 50Hz operation with reduced performance.
Terminals are brass studs numbered 10-32. They can be fi tted with a lock washer, a fl at washer, and a regular nut.
