| The Speedy Moisture Tester is portable and needs no electrical connections. It operates on the principle of the gas pressure generated being proportional to moisture after reaction with the Speedy reagent. Useful at the muller and on core mixes containing volatile oils that might be lost by heat.It is also useful on a wide variety of materials, such as soils, clays, powders, chemical, brickwork, plaster and mortar, grain and foodstuffs.
Scales are available with a 10% or 20% moisture range. The ranges can be doubled by using a smaller sample. A No. 276-B Moisture Teller may be used to check the calibration of the pressure scale with a simple molding sand, to insure continued accuracy. Includes balance and weight assembly, pressure gauge assembly, scoop, and two brushes, in a case. Specifications:
