OMEGA’s FMG70B series is a compact and low-cost inductive electromagnetic flow sensor series product. This new product series enables the application of a unique and extremely reliable measurement technology that was previously considered impossible to introduce in the field of process control.
Changes in liquid temperature, density, viscosity, concentration, or conductivity (with a minimum conductivity of 50 µ s/cm) do not affect the output signal.
The FMG70B series can be applied in areas where flow sensors with moving components (such as impeller sensors) cannot be used due to the presence of pollutants/particles in the medium. This type of sensor is mainly used for continuous measurement of flow rate, or for measuring/batching conductive liquids with a minimum conductivity of 50 S/cm. The frequency (or current) of the output signal is proportional to the flow rate. There are two optional output signals, frequency or analog signal (- A type).
