Eraser’s Model LH115 Hand Glo-Ring® Infrared Heat Tool is ideal for many applications including heat shrinking, plastic tube bending, soldering, adhesive curing, solder preforms, butt welding and more. Model LH115 incorporate quartz encapsulated heating elements (Glo-Rings) which open and close to encircle work pieces with instant radiant heat at temperatures up to 1500°F (815°C). No R.F. interference is generated with the Glo-Rings and they are suitable for use in clean rooms and testing areas. Model LH115 is an excellent alternative to a heat gun, as it uses less electrical energy, does not blow hot air, and is simple to maintain.

Glo-Ring infrared heat tools from the Eraser company are ideal for many applications, including heat shrinking, plastic tube bending, soldering, adhesive curing, and more. Glo-Rings use quartz encapsulated heating elements, which open and close to encircle work pieces with instant radiant heat, at temperatures up to 1500°F.

Model LH115 is a handheld Glo-Ring. This portable heat tool can be easily moved around work pieces or the units may be used stationary on the provided bench stand. The LH115 comes with a heat control, which provides varying element temperatures.

Glo-Ring elements come in a variety of sizes and are measured based on the diameter when closed. Sizes include one-half inch, one inch, two inches and three inches and all four sizes are interchangeable. Most element sizes are available in intermittent and continuous rated duty cycles. Elements are protected by wire guards for safety and to prevent accidental damage.

Glo-Rings are an excellent alternative to heat guns. They use less energy and are virtually silent and easy to maintain. There is also no blowing of hot air, making them suitable for use in cleanrooms and testing areas. Also available is Eraser’s Single Element, Bench Glo-Ring.
