Statox 501 HRC and ARE \u2013 The detectors for combustible gases<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Catalytic sensors detect all combustible substances \u2013 albeit not with the same sensitivity:<\/p>\n

The HRC measuring head is usually used for short-chain alkanes \u2013 i.e. for molecules with 1 \u2013 4 C-atoms, such as\u00a0methane CH4<\/sub>,\u00a0ethane C2<\/sub>H6<\/sub>,\u00a0propane C3<\/sub>H8<\/sub>\u00a0or\u00a0n-butane C4<\/sub>H10<\/sub>.<\/p>\n

The measurement of poorly volatile substances (for example fuels or solvents), are the strength of the ARE measuring head.<\/p>\n

Since both systems do not have their own display or relay, it must be operated with the\u00a0Statox 503 control module.\u00a0Together, functional safety up to\u00a0SIL2 can be achieved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
