CD52 Bandit can safely, simply, and reliably perform non-invasive detection of pig channels at any location within the pipeline network. Simply tie the CD52 onto the pipeline, and the CD52 Non Intrusive Pig Signaler (ATEX) pig signal will immediately start scanning the pig channel equipped with a transmitter and permanent magnet. When the pigs pass, their time and date will be displayed along with the flashing “nearest channel” message. If multiple pigs appear, simply scroll back the channel memory and retrieve the time and date of any of the last 10 channels. In addition to visual indication, the CD52 Bandit will also activate the dry contact relay to close; This relay can support electrical connections from 120VAC to 1A or 30VDC to 3A. It is recommended to choose an optional 316 stainless steel sunshade to increase heat dissipation in deserts and other high-temperature and direct sunlight areas.
